The Tokyo office of the Kakao piccoma integrates Kvadrat upholsteries and curtains, and a Kvadrat Acoustics solution to elevate productivity, comfort, and wellbeing. The space in the Azabudai district is based on the concept of "Friendly Grayish+Analog Richness" and focuses on sustainable design.

Soft Cell Broadline acoustic panels covered with Hint, Casa and Tints are installed on the walls of the meeting rooms. They ensure a comfortable, crisp acoustic climate and deliver a high-quality, seamless finish.

"We decided to use Kvadrat textiles because we thought they would be good accents for the space. We feel their high quality differentiates them from textiles made by other manufacturers. Furthermore, from the point of view of sustainability, we share your awareness of your products' production, transport and disposal cycles. Ultimately, the textiles by Kvadrat are simple but carefully designed and have a deep affinity with the concept of this office." Kakao piccoma

The textiles on the panels engage in a subtle dialogue with curtains crafted from Dawn, Karimoku chairs upholstered with Vidar, and a Bo Concept sofa finished with Molly. All these textural elements are specified in colours that align with the architect’s vision of integrating base grey notes with assorted wood grain items.

The architects developed the interior concept to create a sense of Ka's character, express a sense of familiarity, and embody the valuing of unchanging values. The office, which is filled with natural light, provides spectacular views across the Japanese capital.
