Specialist, Customer Service (New York, NY)

We are currently building our North American organization and are therefore seeking a Customer Service professional to support our clients and sales team. Our focus is to develop the absolute best customer service in the industry. We offer a unique opportunity to be part of a growing US organization with global roots.
Your main responsibilities will include
Preparing quotations and sales contracts, ultimately assisting the sales team to achieve our sales targets
Order processing, from receipt of order to delivery, invoicing, and preparing shipments via Microsoft D365
Follow-up on invoicing and payment issues with customers
Regular administration of data input and updates including customer/meeting/project information
Administrative support to the sales team (e.g. meeting the clients if necessary)
Regular communication with customers - both verbally and in writing
Assistance in project management/engaging with contractors when needed
Welcoming guests at the showroom Supporting colleagues for marketing events if necessary
Your profile
You have at least 2-3 years of experience with order processing or customer service
You have experience working with the textile or furniture industry
You have experience navigating within an ERP system
You are structured and well organized, positive and proactive
You are honest, patient, detail-oriented, open-minded and service-minded
You have a strong sense of responsibility and a great passion for your work
You are willing to acquire new skills and to face new challenges
You are a solid team player, but also thrive when working independently
Knowledge and skills required
Bachelor’s degree or higher Excellent communication skills
Skilled in the Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with a CRM system(s)
